We are a multi-functional building in the heart of this community, offering a range of activities, events and opportunities for local people.<\/h2>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”_initial” text_font_size=”16px” text_line_height=”1.8em” text_orientation=”center” text_font_size_tablet=”15px” text_font_size_phone=”14px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|desktop” global_colors_info=”{}”]

We provide services according to demand and ensure provision for people of all ages. The building currently has on average over 500 visitors per month, with ages ranging from 0 \u2013 95 years.\u00a0 Our aim is to provide for all members of the community and feedback is important to develop new activities to sustain the Hall.<\/p>\n

We work closely with surrounding organisations including Communities for Work, Rhondda Food Bank, Adult Education and the local Police Team, who use the Hall as base and to communicate with the community. Furthermore, the Youth Offending Service hire a space to carry out restorative justice work with young offenders, they also help with general building maintenance. The Hall is also hired for various events and activities including; party packages, social events, drama rehearsals, football presentations, local polling station, practice venue for the Tylorstown Brass Band, and much more.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ admin_label=”Gallery” _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” “For over a century, Pendyrus Male Choir has stood at the musical heart of its community of Tylorstown, Rhondda Fach, so much so, that \u201cPendyrus\u201d has now been adopted as the Welsh Translation \u201cTylorstown\u201d and has been bringing people together through a shared passion for song and tradition.<\/p>\n

In much the same way, Tylorstown Welfare Hall serves as a vital cornerstone of the local area. A welcoming venue and safe space where individuals and groups can come together to connect, create, and enjoy. The Tylorstown Welfare Hall provides a wonderful rehearsal environment for the choir, with acoustics that naturally enhance sound and allow choristers to refine and develop their musicality to a high standard.<\/p>\n

“It means a huge amount to all of us at Flow Fight Club to have the support of somewhere as historic and respected as Tylorstown Welfare Hall. The Welfare is not just a venue to us. The character of the building, the balcony seating, the views of the action and the atmosphere it creates all bring something different to the show.
